Sacramento Executive Airport sits at 6151 Freeport Boulevard, about six miles south of downtown Sacramento. The airport handles general aviation, private jets, charter flights, and flight schools. It is one of the busier general aviation fields in the region. There is no scheduled commercial airline service at SAC. Your driver will meet you in the lobby of the Fixed Base Operator handling your flight. Some operators allow curb pickup at the FBO entrance; others require the driver to check in at the front desk. We need your tail number and FBO name at least 24 hours in advance. Security is lighter than at SMF, but the FBO still requires advance notice for vehicle access.
Sedan transfers from SAC start at $130 from Land Park.
One-way sedan pricing includes taxes and airport fees, plus a 30-minute grace period after your scheduled arrival. Gratuity, parking, and additional stops are extra. Larger vehicles and inside-FBO meet-and-greet are available by quote. Because SAC is a general aviation airport, pricing assumes private or charter arrivals, not commercial airline passengers.
| Neighborhood | Typical Sedan Rate | Off-Peak Drive Time |
|---|---|---|
| Land Park | $130 | 8-12 minutes |
| Downtown Sacramento | $130 | 10-15 minutes |
| Midtown Sacramento | $130 | 10-15 minutes |
| East Sacramento | $130 | 12-18 minutes |
| Arden-Arcade | $130 | 15-25 minutes |
| Elk Grove | $130 | 20-30 minutes |
| Roseville | $130 | 30-45 minutes |
Drive times depend on Freeport Boulevard and the I-5 merge.
SAC is convenient to downtown, Land Park, and Midtown via Freeport Boulevard or State Route 160. Rush-hour traffic on Freeport and 21st Street can add ten minutes to downtown runs. For Arden-Arcade and Roseville, we use Interstate 80 east or U.S. 50. Elk Grove routes usually take Highway 99 south or Franklin Boulevard. The airport closes its main runway for noise abatement overnight, so late charter arrivals may use alternate procedures. We recommend confirming FBO hours and gate access before booking very early or very late pickups.
Honest limitation: SAC does not serve commercial airlines.
If your ticket says Sacramento, you are almost certainly landing at SMF, not Executive. We cannot meet commercial airline passengers at SAC because no scheduled carriers operate there. Make sure your charter operator confirms SAC as the arrival airport before you book ground transportation. We also cannot guarantee ramp access without the tail number and FBO details in advance.
