Elk Grove sits south of Sacramento between Interstate 5 on the west and Highway 99 on the east, and most of our bookings here are early airport departures, commutes to meetings downtown and family events on weekends. Rides are reserved in advance, confirmed in writing and carried out by vetted local affiliate chauffeurs who know the south county roads.
The city stretches from the Laguna neighborhoods near I-5 to the older streets around Old Town Elk Grove on Elk Grove Boulevard, and east toward Bond Road and Grant Line Road. Pickups are usually from homes, from offices along Laguna Boulevard and Elk Grove Boulevard, and from the retail and dining areas near Highway 99. Sky River Casino at the south end of the city also draws evening groups who would rather not drive home.
Getting to SMF from Elk Grove
There are two practical ways north. From the western neighborhoods, I-5 runs straight through downtown Sacramento to the Airport Boulevard exit. From the eastern side of the city, Highway 99 joins I-5 near downtown. Both corridors slow in the weekday morning commute, and the merge near downtown is the usual pinch point, so we suggest padding dawn departures. The Elk Grove to SMF route page lists typical drive times by time of day.
For private and charter flights, Sacramento Executive Airport on Freeport Boulevard is much closer, a straightforward run up I-5 or Freeport Boulevard. Your chauffeur meets you at the FBO when you send the tail number and FBO name at least 24 hours ahead.
Rates for Elk Grove rides
Elk Grove rides use the same rate card as the rest of the region. Point-to-point fares start at $130 for a sedan and $160 for an SUV, with your exact fare confirmed in writing before you book. Hourly service is $120 per hour for the executive sedan, $150 for the Cadillac Escalade, $230 for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and $240 for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, each with a three-hour minimum.
- Sedan: up to three passengers, point-to-point from $130
- Cadillac Escalade: up to six passengers, point-to-point from $160
- Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: up to fourteen passengers, $240 per hour
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup
Weddings and family events
South county weddings often mean long distances between the getting-ready house, the ceremony and a reception downtown or in the Delta. Hourly service keeps the couple’s car and the wedding party’s Sprinter on one timeline, and the chauffeurs are briefed before the day. For graduations, anniversaries and nights out downtown, a sedan or SUV means nobody has to drive home on Highway 99 late at night.
An honest limitation
Elk Grove is spread out, and the eastern neighborhoods are a longer drive from the airport than downtown. Short-notice requests depend on which chauffeurs are nearby, so please book early, especially for pickups before 6 a.m.
