One timeline for the whole day
Wedding transportation works best when it is planned like the rest of the day: backwards from the ceremony start. We take your timeline, the addresses for the getting-ready suites, the ceremony, any photo stops and the reception, and turn it into a schedule for each vehicle. The couple usually rides in a sedan or the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, parents and grandparents in the Cadillac Escalade, and the wedding party in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter so everyone arrives together and on time.
Your chauffeurs are briefed on the plan before the day. They know which door the bride will leave from, where the photographer wants the car, and how long the family photos are expected to take. When something runs late, and something always does, dispatch adjusts the later pickups instead of leaving guests on the curb.
Popular Sacramento settings
Many couples take portraits at the State Capitol and in Capitol Park, along the Tower Bridge and on the boardwalks of Old Sacramento, then move on to the reception. Venues on this site already include The Firehouse in Old Sacramento, Catta Verdera and Monte Verde Inn, and the historic homes of the Fabulous Forties in East Sacramento are a favorite backdrop. Each location has its own access rules: Old Sacramento has cobblestone streets and limited curb space, and residential blocks in East Sacramento are narrow, so larger vehicles may stage at a corner. We work those details out in advance.
Vehicles and rates
Wedding bookings are hourly, with a three-hour minimum on every vehicle. The executive sedan is $120 per hour, the Cadillac Escalade $150 per hour, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class $230 per hour and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter $240 per hour. Most weddings book between four and six hours per vehicle so the cars cover the ceremony, photos and the reception entrance. If guests only need a ride from the hotel to the venue and back, a Sprinter shuttle loop or point-to-point rides can cost less than keeping a car all night.
- Sedan for the couple: up to three passengers
- Escalade for family: up to six passengers
- Sprinter for the wedding party: up to fourteen passengers
- Timeline review and chauffeur briefing before the day
Guest shuttles
If most guests are staying at one or two downtown or Midtown hotels, a timed Sprinter loop between the hotel and the venue keeps people from driving after the reception. We set departure times from the hotel before the ceremony and return runs through the evening, and the lead contact at the hotel knows exactly when the van will be at the door.
What we need from you
Send the date, the timeline, every address, a passenger count for each vehicle and one day-of contact who is not in the wedding party. Book early for spring and fall Saturdays, which fill first, and for dates that clash with major events at Golden 1 Center or Cal Expo. Decorations on the vehicles are not standard and must be approved case by case.
An honest limitation
This fleet does not include stretch limousines, party buses or vintage cars. If a classic car is part of your plan, book it with a specialist and use our sedans, SUVs and Sprinters for the rest of the party.
