Davis sits west of Sacramento across the Yolo Causeway on Interstate 80, and our bookings here revolve around the university: visiting faculty and speakers, parents on move-in and graduation weekends, researchers catching early flights and audiences heading to evening performances. Every ride is reserved in advance and carried out by vetted local affiliate chauffeurs.
Common pickups include the UC Davis campus and its hotels, downtown Davis near the Davis Amtrak station, the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts and the residential neighborhoods around Russell Boulevard and Covell Boulevard. One detail catches many visitors: UC Davis Medical Center is not in Davis. It is on Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento, about a 20 to 30 minute drive east, and we handle regular rides between the two.
Getting to SMF from Davis
Sacramento International Airport is north-east of Davis. Depending on traffic, the chauffeur either heads east on I-80 and north on I-5, or north on Highway 113 toward Woodland and then east on I-5 to the Airport Boulevard exit. The Yolo Causeway is the main risk on the I-80 option, because a single incident on the causeway backs up traffic in both directions. The Davis to SMF route page lists typical timing by time of day.
Rates for Davis rides
Davis uses the standard rate card. Point-to-point fares start at $130 for a sedan and $160 for an SUV and are confirmed in writing before you book. Hourly service is $120 per hour for a sedan, $150 for an SUV, $230 for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and $240 for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, each with a three-hour minimum.

Bay Area connections
Davis is already part way to the Bay Area, so many clients book one-way rides to San Francisco or to Napa Valley from here. Both have route pages with timing notes. For round trips with meetings in between, hourly service keeps the same car and chauffeur with you all day.
Campus events and groups
For graduation weekends and conferences, a Sprinter moves up to fourteen people between hotels, campus and dinner. We agree on a pickup point in advance, because campus roads and drop-off areas are busy on event days and large vans cannot always use the nearest curb.
An honest limitation
Davis is on the western edge of our coverage, and cars are often positioned from Sacramento. Book early for pickups before dawn and for graduation weekends, when demand is highest.
